## Summary

Egenverk Conversion Relay is a free WooCommerce plugin that sends conversions to ChatGPT Ads (OpenAI): browser events through the pixel and purchases through the Conversions API from the server. Everything requires marketing consent. Purchases are queued with retries, counted once and sent without name, phone or address.

**Before:** You see the clicks in Ads Manager, but not which ones became sales.

**With Conversion Relay:** Purchases are reported from the server once the order is paid — only with consent.

## What it does, in plain words

- **Purchases from the server.** Sent through the Conversions API once the order is paid, in a queue with retries. Checkout never waits.
- **Consent first.** Every event requires marketing consent. Withdrawn consent cancels purchases that have not been sent.
- **Cookiebot and WP Consent API.** Reads consent from Cookiebot and from banners that follow the WP Consent API.
- **Validation mode.** Test with synthetic events that are not counted before you go live.
- **Once per purchase.** Even if the payment is reported twice.
- **Delivery status.** The last 50 orders, status and retries in the WooCommerce settings.

## Purchases from the server, with consent

Purchases are sent from the server once the order is paid, through a queue with retries — checkout never waits. Browser events go through the pixel, and both require marketing consent from Cookiebot or the WP Consent API.

## Privacy and data

- **Never sent:** Name, phone, street address, order key, raw email.
- **Optional signals:** Hashed email, IP, user agent and billing country/city — off by default.
- **Recipient:** OpenAI (bzr.openai.com) — only in production mode with consent.
- **Key:** Encrypted with AES-256-GCM or set as a constant.
