## Summary

Egenverk Lagom is a WordPress plugin that keeps WordPress and WooCommerce light. It clears expired transients and old Action Scheduler jobs, removes heavy dashboard widgets, watches admin-ajax, REST and wp-cron, and shows the database's largest tables. Everything that deletes shows counts first and is logged. Requires WordPress 6.5 and PHP 7.4.

**Before:** Tables grow, widgets load and a request loops without anyone noticing.

**With Lagom:** Fewer rows, a lighter admin and a log for every run — you see the count first.

## What it does, in plain words

- **A tidy scheduler.** Finished jobs go after 14 days, failed after 90. A dry run shows counts before you switch it on.
- **Request watch.** Counts wc-ajax, admin-ajax, REST and wp-cron per minute and emails once per endpoint per hour.
- **Nightly housekeeping at 03:00.** Expired transients and WooCommerce sessions, plus a calmer heartbeat.
- **Database overview.** The 25 largest tables and 20 largest autoloaded options. OPTIMIZE only after your click; autoload stops can be undone.
- **Fast order search.** Search by order number, email, phone, postcode and name over indexed columns.
- **Assets per page type.** See which CSS and JS each page type loads and from which plugin; stop what isn't needed after a preview.
- **A lighter dashboard.** Remove chosen dashboard widgets before they render.
- **An admin skin.** Font, radius and light, dark or auto — optional and off by default.

## Modules you switch on one at a time

Lagom is a plugin with eight modules. You switch them on one at a time, and all of them ship off. Anything that deletes counts first and shows you the number, and every run lands in the log.

Lagom sends nothing off the site, except the optional PageSpeed check, which sends the page address to Google when you run it. On a test store, 11,363 expired rows were removed in 1.97 seconds.

## Privacy and data

- **Data out:** None by default. The optional PageSpeed check sends the page address to Google when you run it.
- **Request watch:** Stores no IP, user, cookie, query or body.
- **Fonts:** Self-hosted, no external requests.
- **Order search:** Its own index row is removed when an order is deleted or anonymised, and on uninstall.

### Does Lagom delete anything without asking?

No. Every module ships off. Everything that deletes shows counts first and is logged, and OPTIMIZE runs only after a confirmed click.

### Does it work without WooCommerce?

Yes. The WooCommerce parts appear only when WooCommerce is active.

### Does Lagom slow the site down?

Request watch measured about 18 microseconds per request on a test store.
