Egenverk builds internal tools, APIs and services for companies that want control over their systems. One example is the AI service Egenverk Claims: TypeScript, Node and Postgres on a server in Germany, with licences, token budgets and logs without content. Documentation, a changelog and a build that stops errors before they ship are included.

## What is included

- **APIs and services.** TypeScript, Node and Postgres, with strict typing, input validation and tests.
- **Licences and metering.** Licence keys tied to a domain, case counting and monthly budgets.
- **Hosting in the EU.** A server in Germany with automatic security updates, TLS and daily database backups.
- **Logs without content.** Method, path, status and duration. Never the content of the calls.
- **Design system.** Colours, fonts and components in a package of their own, with lint rules that keep the code to the design's tokens.
- **A build with gates.** Type checks, lint and custom checks that stop the build on broken links, invalid structured data or too much JavaScript.

## How we have done it

- **Egenverk Claims.** An API service in TypeScript with Hono, Drizzle and Postgres. Licences, case counting and a token budget, with responses streamed to the plugin. It stores only case ids, timestamps and token counts. ([Learn more](https://egenverk.se/en/plugins/customer-hub/claims))
- **egenverk.se.** The build stops on unfinished text, links to pages that do not exist, invalid JSON-LD and too much JavaScript. Lighthouse runs on every pull request.
- **The design system.** A package of tokens, CSS and components that egenverk.se and our WordPress kit build on, so the site and the plugins look and behave alike.

## How we work

3. **Small, reviewed steps.** Every change is reviewed and tested before it ships.
4. **Your code, your repo.** Ownership and licences are defined in the proposal. Documentation and a changelog are included.
